General Questions Enyxus is neither a brokerage nor an exchange. Rather, Enyxus is a multi-plex trading platform to which traders can connect their various accounts and track their inventory of assets, review their performance and execute trades without having to log into multiple accounts. Because Enyxus is not an exchange we can provide an innovative trade experience that works across multiple crypto exchanges (both centralized and decentralized) and stock and options brokerages. This lets traders hold as many accounts wherever they like and easily track and trade them all from one platform. Short Answer: Novices and Professionals alike.
Enyxus was designed for anyone with an interest in financial markets or who owns or plans to own tradable assets. Enyxus offers tools that both simplify and expand our view of the markets, allowing a complete novice to begin breaking capital into smaller pieces and strategically building and exiting positions as profits present themselves. This reduces the inclination to attempt to time the markets and gamble with our assets. It also allows traders to find unit gain opportunities between assets rather than the traditional limited view of profitability of assets compared to fiat currencies like Dollars or Euros. Enyxus is the tool every spreadsheet building professional wished they'd had before they built that clunky and mostly useless spreadsheet, and every novice needs to trade like a pro. Short Answer: Crypto, Stocks (Options & Futures in development)
Enyxus currently supports crypto and stock trading, while options and futures trading is in development. At the moment, however, live trading is available only by invitation to our private beta group. In the meantime, a free version of the Market Matrix portion of the platform is available for anyone who wishes to build watchlists and look for unit growth opportunities over any timeframe the user wishes to review. Because Enyxus is simply a software service and not a brokerage or an exchange, we do not accept deposits or take custody of client funds. Enyxus is currently available as a free tool with limited functionality. Our full suite of tools are currently only available via invitation to our private beta group. As such, pricing is TBD. Be sure to join our mailing list to be updated on pricing and availability as it comes available. Short Answer: Click the Platform Link in the Menu
While our full suite of tools are currently only available via invitation to our private beta group, a free version of our platform is available to help you find hidden opportunities in the market. Simply click the Platform link in the menu to go to the platform and get started. Be sure to join our mailing list to be updated on availability of the full suite of tools as it comes available. Click Here to sign up for the mailing list and free Subscriber Level access to the platform. Enyxus was built to help traders become more successful and as such, education and practice are prioritized in the platform. As such, the platform offers three levels of "accounts". We offer a demo account for educational purposes, contest account(s) for practice and competitions and live accounts for actual trading of real assets. Short Answer: Not yet (but automation is in development)
While Enyxus is a platform designed to simultaneously simplify and advance your abilities to successfully trade manually, the platform is also being designed to incorporate automation. While Enyxus is not a financial advisor and cannot suggest assets to be traded, we can and do provide tools that assist traders in trading their preferred assets. Click Here to sign up for the mailing list to be alerted as new tools like automation are released. Short Answer: Yes, but our approach is much different then the status quo.
Enyxus has been designed to assist traders in seeing the markets much differently than other trading platforms. Rather than forcing traders to see every trade through a narrow lens of profitability in dollars or euros, Enyxus expands the trader's view to include "profitability" in terms of unit growth in other assets the trader wishes to own/trade. Additionally, Enyxus offers a unique ability to split assets into smaller components and trade them incrementally, through our Block Trading module. While Enyxus does not attempt to teach traditional trading methods that seek to predict or "time" the markets, we offer a variety of educational tools that help traders approach the markets differently and enhance their trading through the use of the Enyxus platform. Enyxus was built by traders who have years experience with trading and who have yet to find validity in any of the "holy grail" indicators that are widely marketed. Our platform is not designed to predict or "time" the markets, rather our technology helps traders strategically approach a trade as opposed to gambling on a hunch or prediction. While traders can easily use another prediction service or indicator to make decisions and execute those decisions through Enyxus, our platform does not incorporate predictive tools. Enyxus is not currently designed for tax reporting and should not be relied upon for tax reporting purposes. While your history of past trades are available in various reports within the Enyxus platform and can be downloaded as CSV files, Enyxus assumes no responsibility for tax reporting and does not warrant the validity of any report any user of Enyxus submits to tax authorities in any jurisdiction. Because Enyxus offers a variety of free tools, including the Market Matrix and Demo and Contest accounts (among others), users can enjoy the platform for educational purposes or even participate in competitions without connecting a live trading account. Click Here to sign up for the mailing list to learn more and to be alerted as new tools and contests come available. General Questions Currently, Enyxus is only available as a desktop web-based platform. This is the best experience for using an advanced trading platform, however, a mobile version of Enyxus is in the works. Enyxus allows users to build numerous watchlists, so you can create lists based on your preferences. Maybe you want to trade between assets in similar sectors, or perhaps you have other criteria. Enyxus lets you categorize lists however you like, and save them with your own custom names. Short Answer: Through APIs
Enyxus connects to a number of exchanges and brokerages through the APIs offered by those services. Simply log in to your brokerage or exchange account and select the API creation option. Be sure to only enable trading (not withdrawals or any other cashiering activities) and copy the API keys so you can paste them into your Enyxus account. That's it. In seconds, Enyxus will be connected to your account and ready for trading. The Long Answer is also No. Short Answer: An array of asset price differences.
A Market Matrix is an array of assets that the user chooses to view, and the relative price difference between those assets over the time period specified by the user. The design of the Enyxus Market Matrix allows users to quickly find unit gain opportunities between as many as 21 assets at a time, rather than simply see a single asset priced against say USD. Short Answer: An array of assets the user holds and watchlist items.
A Smart Matrix is much like a Market Matrix, however the assets listed contain both the actual assets the user is holding, as well as watchlist items added by the user. Just like a Market Matrix, the Smart Matrix demonstrates the relative price difference between those assets, however the time frame is based on the user's last trade of the assets in focus. The design of the Enyxus Smart Matrix allows users to quickly find unit gain opportunities between the assets in the list rather than simply see a single asset priced against say USD. Short Answer: Either through a purchase of an asset or a split of another block
Upon connecting an exchange or brokerage account to Enyxus, all holdings of any assets in the account are immediately treated as new blocks and each one is assigned a Block ID. This means that if you open an account with an exchange and fund it, and only have say USD in the account, you would have one block of USD. However, if you had previously traded within the account, and had say 10 different assets in the account at the time that you connect to Enyxus, you would then have 10 different blocks of different assets within Enyxus. Users may split portions off of each block in order to trade smaller amounts and this splitting action creates additional blocks. As blocks are created, either through additional purchases of assets or by the splitting of a block, the additional blocks will appear in the Block Module. Blocks are basically an accounting mechanism that only show up within Enyxus. When you split a block and trade it, the amount of the trade shows up on the Brokerage or Exchange platform, and as long as there are were no other units of the same asset in the account you will see the same quantity as the block that was traded. However, if additional units of the asset that was just acquired were already in the account, the broker or exchange will, in nearly all cases, show you a combined total unit holding, obscuring the individual performance of the recently purchased units. Short Answer: A trade between assets which have no direct market.
A Smart Swap is a trade made between two assets, between which no direct market exists. This occurs most often between assets on centralized exchanges, where no direct liquidity pool is available to facilitate a direct trade (direct swap). Additionally, it happens in literally every stock for stock transaction as stocks on brokerage platforms only trade for fiat currency. Enyxus searches the exchange's or brokerage's API to find an asset or sometimes multiple assets through which both assets in the pairing can be traded at the lowest cost to the trader, and automatically executes all of the necessary trades to get the trade from "Point A" to "Point B". For the user, the experience is one single, seamless execution. Short Answer: The most accurate estimate of the price you will pay at market.
When traders prepare market orders, most exchanges estimate market order pricing based on the last price paid for an asset. This means that the data from the exchange can be highly inaccurate as a large order will “consume” the order book at progressively worse pricing. Enyxus, however, uses an algorithm or algorithms (as in the case of unpaired assets requiring more than one “jump” in the trade) to calculate the likely resulting quantity to be acquired by calculating the associated (weighted) pricing of each quantity of the From asset being sold into the order book, and the most likely resulting units that will be acquired from each portion of the trade as the order book is consumed. The inherent progression of “worse” pricing one experiences as their market order consumes the market’s posted limit orders determines the outcome of the sale of a predetermined or fixed quantity of one asset for a variable quantity of another asset, as determined by pricing. Users are instructed to only enable trading functions when creating an API connection with their exchange/brokerage. This added security precaution ensures that no fraudulent activity like theft can be conducted through the Enyxus platform. Enyxus was designed to make professional methods of trading easier for both novices and professionals, alike. Through intuitive displays and advanced trading logic, Enyxus leverages advanced software solutions to offer any user, from professional to novice, a new and much improved trading experience. Enyxus users enjoy greater visibility of the markets with asset-to-asset based pricing and charting displays; simple and clear performance displays, so every trade's performance is easy to see and understan; and a seamless asset-for-asset trading execution, regardless of whether or not a direct market exists on the user's exchange. These advantages help professionals trade better, and help novices short-cut their learning curve to be more professional traders without having to deal with much of the unnecessary complexity found in other platforms. General Questions Short Answer: Yes, but they can be part of the same strategy.
There has been plenty written about how very different investing (or "hodling" in crypto lingo) and trading are. In short, however, it all boils down to one's expectations of performance over time. Investor's patiently wait for an investment to reach a profit target and are willing to "ride out" downturns in profitability, while traders are focused on short term gains, and often take losses to avoid any anticipated deep or protracted downturns. Both strategies have advantages and disadvantages rooted in everyone's inability to predict the future. Perhaps the best way to enjoy the advantages while reducing the effect of the disadvantages of both approaches, is to simply incorporate both approaches in managing one's portfolio. Enyxus is a platform designed to bridge that gap. Enyxus users can now easily and quickly combine investing with trading techniques with a focus on unit growth that has the power to expand portfolios in ways that have never been possible before. Short Answer: Trading and investing at the same time.
Imagine that you have two stocks in mind that you expect to grow in value over time and you want to buy both of them. You're ready to buy them today, however, you're stuck in a dilemma. What if the market falls as soon as you buy them. Conversely, what if the market takes off and you miss your chance to get them at these prices. The only thing you can be sure of is that both stocks will rise and fall against USD (or EUR, GBP etc.) at different rates as time passes. This simple understanding offers an advantage... peace of mind. Why? Because an Enyxus user can jump into the market in both stocks, confident that even if they both fell against say USD, opportunities to trade asset-to-asset, between the two stocks, for unit growth, would still exist and be easy to spot. Helping them grow the portfolio even in a down market. We call that "Smart Hodling". Our users call it game changing. Short Answer: A better way to build a position.
Enyxus offers a unique style of tracking your trades. It not only shows each individual purchase of an asset as an individual block with its own, individual performance, but it also shows all of the open blocks together as a cluster of holdings in an asset. That way if you purchased say 5 units of ETH, each at a different price, you could individually trade those blocks when it's advantageous. However, the combined open positions of ETH also have a single combined performance, and Enyxus tracks these metrics as well, including the average price paid, the break-even price of the combined position etc. When blocks of ETH are added or sold into other assets, Enyxus tracks how each of those transactions have impacted these metrics, allowing users to sell profitable blocks to lower the break-even of the remaining ETH holdings (for example). This tracking of the history of buys and sells constitutes a sequence. The sequence begins when an asset is purchased and ends when all holdings of the asset are sold and there are no remaining positions in the asset. Enyxus not only shows each individual purchase of an asset as an individual block with its own, individual performance, but also all of the open blocks of a given asset together as a cluster of holdings, or a "Position". However, because Enyxus also offers sequence tracking, and therefore, tracks the past sells of blocks of the same asset, the profitability of those past sales applies to open positions as well. So, for instance, if you own two blocks of an asset with a combined current profit of say $10, but you had previously sold two other blocks for a combined profit of $50, your potential Position Profit would be $10, while your potential Sequence Profit would be $60. Short Answer: A new way to consider value
At Enyxus, we refer to the asset through which performance is expressed as a "Key Asset". Thus if USD is one's Key Asset, they will see their performance expressed in dollars. However, because Enyxus provides a new way of seeing the markets, through a lens of asset-asset trading and unit growth opportunities, many Enyxus users find it helpful to view their account performance not only through its measure in fiat currencies like USD or EUR, but also through the assets the user covets most. Enyxus allows users to change their view of performance to reflect the Key Asset of the user's choosing. So, if your goal is to grow your holdings in say ETH for example, you can have Enyxus set to provide performance metrics expressed in ETH. That's Key Asset Perspective or KAP. Regardless of what asset one chooses to be his or her Key Asset, Enyxus always expresses overall value in terms of fiat currencies. Therefore, a user may significantly grow their units of a particular asset, however, if that asset has fallen drastically, the "Value" of the account may not have grown as significantly or may have also fallen. However, if the value of the asset rises from its lows, even just a little, and there are many more units of the asset than there were at the start of the sequence, a user may experience significant Value Growth. As such, Unit Growth has the power to propel Value Growth as markets begin to rise. General Questions Location: Remote
